It was me. I tracked him for the last three hours and had to give up for the night. Finally got my shot after all this huntin and he is a beast... but so far no deer to show. Had good blood but it was getting late and I think we were just pushing him farther...flashlights dying. Will be out again at first light.

How did this end up playing out Joel?

I tracked about a 3 mile blood trail to an empty bed and had to call it. Appears he quit bleeding and I jumped him out of his bed nearly 15 hours after the shot.

Do you have an idea as to where you hit him? It sounds as though he isn't mortally wounded.
