I got to sit in a wooden rocking chair on the front porch of a log cabin tucked a mile up a dead end holler in rural WV today visiting with a 72 year old retired teacher. He shared the stories of his 2 year quest for a mountain lion, Alaskan grizzly, and his most recent adventure, hunting bobcats with dogs. We sat and rocked for 2 hours in the early summer breeze. No phones. No traffic. It reminded me why I love my job most days. I meet some amazing people and today's visit was refreshing!

Very cool Jesse! No doubt that that is some of the coolest perks of doing what you do while on the clock buddy. I can picture you guys sharing a few beers or passing some shine back and forth during this time as well!

We celebrated our daughter's first birthday on the 21st of April. It's amazing how time flies and how quickly she picks up things. She's been walking for over a month now, and I believe she's gonna be smarter than me! Dang she's sharp. She got a little golf set for her birthday, and she'll go get a ball and club and hit it all over the house! She already has better form than me!

Jamming to bluegrass and salvaging old barn lumber for a raised bed. Just have to pull a shit ton of nails. Nothing but labor and dirt costs in this bad boy!
Watched my son kick butt in a soccer game in Toledo today. Enjoyed Frickers with our very own TOO member Mike! Great to meet you in person brother! From there we went to Bass Pro. Pretty dang good day right there. Going to try to muster the energy to go till the garden now.
Watched my sister graduated from Muskingum this afternoon Summa Cum Laude in Middle Childhood Education. She's been threw a rough week after her boyfriend of 4 year bailed on her last formal at her sorority, then broke up with her yesterday. Today was a good day for her to feel like she was going to be alright. She's a very talented flute player and sat first chair in their concert band/orchestra. Very proud brother tonight!

I had a crazy good day yesterday. Yesterday was the graduation day of my twins. Jeremy graduated with a bachelors degree in Middle Education and Brittany graduated with a Bachelor of Science in nursing.
After the graduation ceremony we headed to Brown Chapel for Brittany's pinning ceremony.
Needless to say I am one very proud papa.
