So I went over to talk to the kid & his sister's ex hubby who was there too. We all hunt the same place. As we were talking, I noticed scrapes everywhere ! That gave me some ideas for another hunt. I also had the opportunity to brief them on the powers of smoking up. It was a pretty good morn just the same.

Alright, you guys are killing me here. I just got another tag and will be sitting again pretty soon. See if I can get a buck on the ground.

Man, you guys and this site have cost me some serious coin of the years lmao.

My neighbor just texted me that a nice 8 and a shooter 10 cruised by him. No shot offered at the 10. Sounds like they're moving today! Quitting time will never get here now. Can't wait to get out this afternoon.

And with that......I'm outta here with nothing to do between now and Monday. :pickle:

Neighbor texted me again a little while ago. The 10 that went by him and didn't offer shot... his buddy missed him on up the hollow.

A friend just popped in to the office to pick up his kid. He said he got a pic of a buck with 9" brows this morning. In the pic he was looking over his shoulder. Guess what he was looking at... YEP! The buck was looking at him walking to the camera before climbing in the stand. He said the pic of the buck looking over his shoulder and him getting the camera were minutes apart.

Had that happen to me a few times. On other reason I don't like to run cams during season.

You're crazy... I would have shot that thing and my season would be over. But that's awesome you have that self control.

Its windy and I'm beginning to lose faith in my own farm. Still very few pics on cams let alone any daylight pics. Idk if it's the yotes, acorns or something else but the deer have basically disappeared. Kinda discouraging seeing as I go to another place this am and saw 7 including two bruisers before shooting light. Oh well, at least it's a nice day out. Lol
