BEST TIRES/RIMS for Ranger

I've had great luck with ITP Mud Lite ATs and ITP 589s on my quad. I'd highly recommend both. The Maxxis Big Horns are also a great tire.

This looks like a pretty badass set and decent price. Does this seem like a good price? This says for a polaris ranger 900 but I would think it should still fit on the 800?

I like my Mud Lites if I'm not on my yard. Just turning they will eat some shit up pretty quick. They don't last long on pavement either. I usually have my stock set up on unless I'm going somewhere with it, then the big shoes come out.

that is a bad ass looking 4 wheeler! I don't ever take the ranger off dirt roads or trails. I do ride through the yard often so I wonder if these tires will just rip up my yard too much....hmmmm
Thanks! I wouldn't recommend them to you then. They are way more aggressive than what you need. The stock ones are Carlile 587, maybe? And they are pretty much worthless. Those are the only two tires I have recent experience with. ITP has always been a solid way to spend your money, if you can find something less aggressive. I've heard good things about the Swamp Lite.
Does that look better? Lol, 27s are GONE! It kept pulling until I came back to cross my own ruts. Then it was game over...do not pass go, do not collect $200.
That was about 2 miles back in the swamp. It only got hung up in this one spot that I had to cross my own path. Besides that, it just kept grabbing and going. It's stuck as fuck in that pic though! Lol, I pulled cable. I just figured you gave me shit because of the way the set up looked, I had a purpose for it at one point. It's overkill for what it gets used for now.
Back to the OP, these will fit on yours I'm pretty sure. If your close to my area, I wouldn't care if you tried them out. They've just been sitting in the shed for a year anyways.

Yep. Get an '07 or newer with the fuel injection. The old Honda's are cold natured beasts and fooling with them gets old. The FI models are the cat's ass. My 2007 Rancher 420 was a great machine.
I did that in 07. Bought an 06 with 300miles for $2000 less than new. Used it 7yrs. Sold it for $250 less than I paid for it. There are deals out there. My example is just to show the loyalty and resale in the Hondas.
Any of the Polaris XP models hold value real strong also, along with Bombardier. Hard to beat a Honda for plowing the driveway though. I've thought about selling my XP and buying something more practical for my use now. Truth is, you could buy 2 nice Honda's for the price of either an XP or any Bomb. Being in Ohio, I don't think there's much use for either of the other two rigs either. Would be like buying Razer to go gather firewood, better ways to spend the money.
