Since Ill be buying my first ATV soon, Ill need ramps too. Are there any particular ones I should buy or any particular ones I should avoid? Ive seen good reviews on Titan and Black Widow.

Get the ones that fold in half. Not sure what brand or nothing but the bi fold ones are the way to go over the two single ones

I've used the tri-fold ones and liked them.... Folded up they take less space and offer more room for the quad to be on....

Tri-fold from Harbor Freight. Longer, work great and use the 20% off coupon.

Just went through it myself a bit ago.

Xbow turned me into them.

My first set was an aluminum set I bought from Polaris...they sucked and I rolled my quad off the back of my truck when the ear broke off.

Second set was a metal trifold design. Heavy as a motha...8' long and I bent them loading up the quad with a quartered out moose strapped on the quad. They still function, just have a little bend in them.

If I was to buy another set, I would look into the ones that have an arch built into them. I have zero review with them though.

I also prefer the open rung design. It allows the snow and mud to fall through and seem to have more traction.

I have a bifold set. They would be awesome. . . . If I was loading into a 2wd Ranger or Colorado. For full size trucks they are way too short. I have an 8' aluminum set as well. They are "okay" but a longer set would be much safer. I try to find an incline to back up to when loading/unloading. Still a bit too steep out of a 4x4 dually. The bed is just too tall.

If you guys get something together, I can Hillbilly express from Cotty's to Newark. Then go meet Dustin after work one evening.

You can look at what Harbour Freight has to offer right here on line. Soon as you sign up for their flyers you get a 20 or 30% off coupon.

We've had both bi and tri-folds. I prefer a grid style bi-fold. Use the Internet to your advantage and research particular brands and read the reviews. Also consider how you want to haul them. Either beside the quad or under it. Lots of good options out there.

No Idea. But I will tell you the little straps that cinch them to the bumper are NOT optional.. Well. Unless you want to watch the ramps shoot out behind it and the quad drop like Wiley coyote off a cliff right on your tailgate. If so, then rock on.. Don't worry though, if that happens it'll still close.. You'll never get it reopened, but it'll close.

Two things: pay attention to weight limits, and make sure you use the straps!

Very good point about load ratings, I'm 100% sure that both of my bad reviews were because I overloaded the shit out of them.

I will also agree with Jesse on using a quality ratchet style strap to hold the ramps in place.
