I listen to 10-15 hours of podcasts a week and often come across material I think you all would enjoy. I'm going to make a conscious effort going forward to share what I listen to in hopes some of you will find the same enjoyment that I find from listening to these shows. I'll share a couple of my favorite shows, then leave you with a specific episode I think many of you will enjoy. If you have a smartphone, you can get these on iTunes or on BeyondPod on Android. Most will have them available on YouTube as well. My subscriptions include:

The Joe Rogan Experience
The Fighter & The Kid Podcast
Dan Carlin's Hardcore History
The HawkCast with AJ Hawk
Radiolab
The Onnit Podcast

Rogan is powerful and has the top podcast in the world on a routine basis. If you want to learn and have the time, you're missing out by not listening to him. The Fighter & The Kid is hilarious and well worth the listen. Dan Carlin has some amazing podcasts that are essentially history lectures and his one on WWI called Blueprint for Armageddon is absolutely amazing. I'm listening to the first episode of King of Kings right now. It culminates in the battle that was the basis for the movie 300. AJ's podcast is pretty decent and his one with Kirk Herbstreit is awesome if you are a Buckeye fan. Radiolab will blow your mind with amazing science shit and the Onnit podcast is about human optimization.

For you military guys, check out http://www.range15.com/. This is a movie funded by vets and most of the actors are vets. They did a podcast with Schaub and Callen, which is awesome. Anyone who's done time in the military should watch/listen to this episode and watch the trailer for Range 15 on their website. I found this very interesting and can't wait to watch the movie!

Also, please feel free to share those that you listen to. Nock On and several other outdoors podcasts are worth a listen as well. But I stay away from the outdoors stuff and go more for the self-improvement, educational type stuff.

I've been listening to Joe Rogan for the last few weeks. It's been very interesting and a lot of the guests really test my beliefs. There was a marine on there last week that is pro gun control and very socialist that made me want to pull my hair out.

I've been listening to Steven Crowder's podcast as well. Very interesting stuff and also incredibly non PC.

The Wired To Hunt Podcast - Mark Kenyon, deer hunting talk, real good topics and guests.

Nine Finger Chronicles Podcast - Dan Johnson (partners with Mark Kenyon on the Wired To Hunt Podcast) mostly bowhunting related, hunter profiles, product reviews, etc.

100% Wild Podcast - This was started by Mark Kenyon and now has teamed with the Drury's for this podcast. Relatively new format but seems like it's going to become a great hunting podcast.

Listed to #804 on Joe Rogan's podcast yesterday... guest was Sam Harris. It was a very good one that I strongly recommend. The only part I didn't like was his take on Trump near the end... it was a bit much, IMO.

These get my attention now. The overarching themes of what I listen to are hunting, fitness, and being a better person.

And I just added Keep Hammering with Cameron Hanes.

This podcast is phenomenal. I'm not even a political guy and this podcast was amazing. Peterson was a Harvard professor and at one point he says he feels "you can make an arguement that universities do more harm than good" and "send your kids to trade school" would be his advice to parents thinking about college. Very informative and compelling podcast and well worth your time IMO.

If you want to know why we shouldn't be eating sugar, listen to this podcast. Taubes is an interesting man and my thought process aligns with a lot of his views. We cannot change our health if we do not educate ourselves. It's not fab diets or fashionable exercise routines that will make you healthier. What will cure you is education, a strategic and sustainable plan built off this education, discipline to stay on point and a desire for change will make you healthier. If you want to better your quality of living so you can be the best version of you possible, please start by listening to this podcast.

All of these are available on iTunes or BeyondPod on Andriod. If you are not listening to podcasts right now, you are robbing yourself of revolutionary education. Not just on diet, but ALL facets of life. Explore podcasts that fit your likes. For our vets, there are some former military guys killing the podcast game. Put these on when you are at the desk, on the commute, at the gym, cooking, dicking around in the garage. I hope my passion for this type of education comes across. I've been following Rogan's podcast from show #1 and have listened to over 900 episodes. His interviews with experts in their fields, then pursuit of their suggestions and ideas has undoubtedly changed my life. If you want to optimize your existence or even just listen to a cool conversation about your favorite hobby, explore podcasts!
