A week ago it was a 50/50 shot that I'd make it this year. With the new addition to the family unit and an uncertain return to work for wifey, I wasn't going to push too hard for it. But after a discussion a couple days ago, it sounds like wifey is going to take more time off than originally planned. I ran the Mingo idea past her and surprisingly she didn't seem to balk. I'd say my chances have improved to about 80/20!
Good to hear! I got something for ya, and I'd rather hand it to you in person. Not to mention I want some fuggin frog legs 😎

Dude, I'm going, you have to. This will probably be the only Mingo I'll ever go to. At least for the next one, I can't plan 3 years in advance! Not realistic, lol.

Once you go, you'll do whatever you can to make it back. It's a blast.

That's awesome John, enjoy the extra time! Wish I could swing it.

Mike, any updates on the club that we should know of? We still approved to shoot both ranges, any atv trail updates, still allowed at the pool lol? Makes me smile thinking of this event, look forward to seeing ya ugly fuggars!

Everything we have done in the past is fair game.

As far as quads go, the epic creek trail is still closed down. So the riding will be limited to around the general area, but it's still some good riding. Keep in mind, I sold my quad, but I think most of the guys know their way around pretty good now.

One major point of emphasis, PLEASE obey the posted speed limit signs around the clubhouse and pool area. There's always people out and we don't want any complaints issued toward our group.

Fellas, we are a great bunch of outdoorsman. The club knows that and that's why we are always welcome back. I can't wait!!!

Don't forget clays for the range.

Fellas, I'm sorry... I've been pretty absent from TOO a lot lately. Been so dang busy with the boys and their ball schedule, putting a damn pool in, redoing the entire backyard... blah blah blah.

Anyhow, I took a spin up to the campsite a couple days ago. All looks in order. There's a couple campers there now. One is our usual "friend". Lol
Hopefully they all shove off before we get there.

We are on the calendar. I double checked that. So we are for sure good to go!

Giles, you good on directions? I'm not sure if someone posted them up or not. I know for the first year I have turn by turn directions.

The best way, in my opinion, is to get to Smith Oil gas station and head to the site from there. It swings you right past my neighborhood and right to the site.

If you guys prefer the exit that is two exits before mine, I do believe they just resurfaced that road because of all the water trucks, gas oil traffic, etc... but, that road gets washed out pretty quick even after it's been resurfaced. With all this rain we've been having and those trucks on it, is say the holes and washboards will be back quick.

Anymore questions, shoot me a text. 740-317-7948. We got the district tournament starting this weekend in Coshocton. So, if I don't get to check into TOO as much as I'd like, text me if it's an urgent question.

As always, I'm looking forward to this! Always great to hang with you fuggers. The fact that you guys enjoy Mingo Sportsman so much makes me proud. I've grown up there. So, it is near and dear to my heart.
