I'm putting out some trail cams tomorrow, and it's my first time.
How long do you normally wait before retrieving or reviewing them?

What's good for the goose ain't always good for the gander, and I put my cams about 7-8 foot up. Like I said, I don't have sole permission on farms, the deer don't see my cameras and neither do other people. We usually check them weekly. Just whenever we are at the farm and it is convenient.
Rain, shine, day, night, whenever. Doesn't matter.
Sorry Chad - don't hate me!!! Just don't want him waiting a month for a thunderstorm to have to check a cam you suggest putting 10 feet up a tree!!! rotflmao
Are you setting these cameras up on public land?
I'll find the link to Rick's camera mounts. I recommend those, especially if they are going on public.I am planning to.
Don't piss me off, stomperI check whenever TC tells me to. Otherwise he gets upset lol

Here is the camera mounts I came up with. Hit them with a shot of dark grey paint and it will help also. They draw a lot less attention than those darn straps they give you with the camera. Any questions about them, feel free to ask.
Good luck if they are going on public land.
