Two guys I know hunting boarding properties I hunt and are seeing movement but all small bucks and doe with fawns still.... Young bucks are running around harassing....

That's what I saw Wednesday night. Minus the last 10 minutes

I had a up & coming 8 walk by after I had gotten settled in. When he got broadside, he saw me & ran. At least he didn't snort.

Were you moving? I ground hunt all the time and deer rarely see me.

No. Where I had planned to sit wasn't where I remembered it to be, so I settled for a spot between two trees. Dumb move, but I was hoping the downed tree top behind me would help break up my appearance. I ended up moving to a much better spot & I'll be back in the am.

Great sit today, but I am too fat and old to a 13 hour sit in a ladder stand. Saw 5 different bucks and 13 does, some of them probably the same ones. Saw a small buck chasing some does around, had my middle son in another stand, so overall a great day with no hard work.

Well , I saw 4 different young bucks tonight and one doe . The doe came and went a couple times as did a couple of the dinks .
Saw one unidentified deer which I'm sure was a big one since I couldn't get a good look at it in the thicket .

2 does and 3 small bucks on neighboring property between 4:30-5:45. One buck pushing the does hard. The other bucks were just wandering around. Hoping to get back out in the AM but these IPAs are tasting good!
