Just had a couple little ones running around. Hope that means things will pick up soon. Just got a second look. One may be a little bigger than other. Cold enough to hang one. She might not want to come this way.

Just had three dogs run a doe by me. They wouldnt leave so I fired my sidearm into the ground then they ran home. Maybe dumb idea but deer arent coming anywhere near three dogs. Someone make this decision for me. Should I move or stay? I have a stud on camera at 5am with a spike and doe but have only seen one small buck cruising since i got in stand.

Had a great hunt this morning. Bumped one on the way in then saw 9 while sitting. One was a pretty nice buck but he was behind a doe and wouldn't come closer than 40 yards. The only ones I could have shot were a small 6 point and a button buck but everything was within 50 yards. I'll be back out this afternoon after class

Looked out my kitchen window this morning before I was heading to a meeting and there was a small buck laying down in the backyard. At first I thought it was a doe then I saw he had one small antler. A school bus came down the street and he jumped up as well as a small doe that was about ten yards behind him I didn't see until she moved. She then wandered through the yard and he followed her.

Decided to call it. Pulled the card and didn’t see much activity over the last three days besides those blasted raccoons. Gonna get some lunch and try again this afternoon
