Holdren and I met Gordo at the skull in Athens. Hell of a party going on in town so I told Gordo he better let me take them home. Good thing because the cops were everywhere! Nice seeing ya dude!
Didn't post pics last night because Mom hadn't seen her family room yet. Didn't seem right sharing on social media before she saw it herself. Well. . . . She was ecstatic! I could hear her beaming over the phone. Jim, J, or Dan might have said. . . She was floored by how it turned out.

With the nice weather finally arriving for the weekend I finally got some things done around the homestead. Tore out the old front door and reframed and hung the new steel door, changed blades on the riding mower and got the yard done, tore out the old steps to the front porch and put in the new stringers and treads, and added another shelf in the shed for my reloading area.
Working long hours. I think spring is here. Three trucks rolling all week. Been crazy busy but I'll take it. Dark to dark days wearing on me though. Two of them had me chasing turkeys until 8-830. Still got to live a little. Have two open rentals right now but looks like they will be rented by May 1. Sadly, the highlight to my week has been getting a new door installed on the shop. Thing is heavy duty, insulated, and Stout!
Had to pay my taxes too. That sucked. After filling an extension, my accountant finished them this week. I always like to write notes in the memo section for whoever it is sucking the money out of my wallet. Enjoy!

Been a good day. Did a mulch job this morning. Got the Chevy II out. Took our oldest and his girlfriend to their junior prom. Got Dad's Triumph out of the garage and fired it up. Taking the Triumph to Blessing of the Bikes tomorrow. I rode it there last year. I asked for a blessing over my father as he had brain surgery the following Thursday. He survived surgery but passed in July. It will be an honor to ride it again tomorrow. Tough time of the year for me because of this. Feels good to fire one of his bikes up. Just not the same as taking a ride with him. Nonetheless, it has been a good day. We are blessed.

Great pics Twireman! That is what it's all about. As we near the end of the school year, we are crammed with activities. Band concert last week. Choir concert tonight. My daughter had the opening solo tonight and did awesome! There were others who had excellent solos as well, but this was her first solo. Proud parent moments. We will enter next school with 3 kids in high school, so enjoy the time with the little man twireman! It will go fast.
