Congrats on the anniversaries. Scratching my head about the shed antler pics with Ric's update. I guess maybe a subtle reference to "giving her the bone tonight" but I am not sure???
Adam- Lots of learning to do. Finished 9/15. Started 6th in feature. Clueless about starts and restarts. lol I'm learning. Put me in driver's seat right now with same conditions I think I'd have finished 7th or 8th. Life is all about learning and new experiences. I got some Saturday night! Thanks for asking my friend.

That feeling you get 
when you decide to tinker with two dead trail cameras (from several years ago) and you end up with one that actually works!! Yeah I was doing the happy dance in front of it as the red flash went off time and time again!!
I got to thinking the other day, what are the chances the same thing was wrong with those two cameras, both were similar Covert Red 40's. One had been eaten by a raccoon and quit, the other likely was water that had gotten inside. Swapped the screen and one circuit board and I'll be damned if I didn't get it working. Won't turn completely off without taking out the batteries but hell I can change settings and it works other than that!

Wife and I enjoyed our Friday date night last night. Went to a local steak place and as usual their steaks were spot on. Left the restaurant and headed home, as I was driving I saw something fall out of the tree just ahead of us. Apparently a squirrel jumped on to a branch that was dead and gravity took over from there..... Stopped and watched it for a minute and as it gained its composure, it scampered off too the devils strip....

Been a little while since I took my girls out back to fish, they had a blast. My youngest by far is the bravest of the two, but my oldest could probably outcast a boy her age. Life's TOO good!

Had a great evening with a fellow brother and his family. Not even sure why they put up with him honestly...
Kids fished, wives told stories, men baited hooks and drank some cold beverages. Nate also deep fried a hell of a meal! Thanks again for everything, everyone really enjoyed themselves. My place next time!

Got to race the truck again tonight. The owner had a wedding so he told me to jump in the driver's seat. Getting more comfortable. On the gas longer into the turns and faster coming out of them. Figuring out the handling more. Had some clutch issues tonight. Starts and restarts hurt me. Basically had to start in top gear and go. No clutch once rolling and it wouldn't slip. So everyone just got a truck length off the restarts. Started 6 in heat race, dropped to 7th on a restart. Picked that guy off again and on last two turns made an awesome pass to finish 5th. We were super close. No dented sheet metal but we went thru 3 and 4 sideways together. Close enough he left 2 tire run marks on the sheet metal as I snuck in under him to capture 5th. It was freaking awesome! Started the feature 9th. Finished 10th out of 16. Not bad considering I had a guy come up underneath me and try to spin me. Had truck fully sideways, facing the infield, saved it without spinning out and got back on the track. Dude ended up spinning himself out. We had to start at the rear on restart. Not bad. First race started feature 6th and finished 9th. Tonight started feature 9th and finished 10th. I'm improving. Truck was loaded under it's own power. I'm home safely. I'd call that TOO good! Plus I brought my boys and one of their friends along. Those boys were excited. Said dude who tried to spin me was dirty. Lol
Glad to finally meet your better sides Dave. We all enjoyed the company. Great way to spend a Saturday evening.
Anyone else see Phil getting his own truck in the future?
