We have a few locals hanging around. If I ran this trackhoe all day you could shoot everyone of them and they would never leave.

so who all is jacked for opening day Saturday? Our public land that we have shot 6 man limits out of the past two years is looking great again. Anyone else find their X's?
Hunted Big Island this morning. Saw about 8 first 10 minutes of shooting light. Nothing else the rest of the morning it pretty much stunk. I figured with the crappy weather it would be pretty good.
S zone 2nd split is upon us . I feel like this is the best hunting of the season . Hopefully conditions allow us all to have some good hunts .
We hunted sat, Sunday and Monday and killed mallards , blacks , gaddies and a suprise bonus Drake can my buddy Aaron shot .
Mallards are big and fat .

Very nice!!! I noticed that with no snow on the fields that there are a lot of doves around for the second season also.
Thanks again for the invite over the weekend, Jake. Long day but a great time as usual. Betty slept pretty good that night.
Gonna be guiding at the club this weekend and it sounds like it should be an epic hunt. The marshes have opened back up in some choice areas and the birds are thick!

Good stuff fellas!
Our crew is launching the boat for it's maiden voyage on Saturday. Pretty excited to take our game to the next level by getting on the big water. We also secured arguably the best field in the county again and we have a box trailer to load all our gear in. We're a bunch of hardly able waterfowlers scratching out a living in a shitty area, but we're legit when it comes to gear!

Pretty awesome hunt today considering the slow start.
That dude to your right is one ugly mofo...how’s that Suby pull that trailer? 
Not too much for birds around here . Pulled a quick solo hunt this morning in a flooded cow pasture . Had to break ice but it worked out and I killed my 4 greenheads in short order once shooting time arrived . Stuck around for a bit hoping a black duck would show but it didn't happen. A couple pairs of mallards dumped in but that was it . Saw about 20 ducks total .
