Should have done a pool on who passes out first, who throws up first, who drinks the most beer; who drinks the most liquor, etc.
No one keeps count...and when it’s this hot...wasn’t much drinking going on. I think I had 6 beers, 12 waters and 2 Gatorades.
No sooner than when I show up & go to put my truck into park around 9:00 pm, my gear shifter linkage in the steering column brakes.
Yup, ford peace of shit steering tube fucked all to hell. Can't park, can't drive...
Anyhow,
I get my hand tools out and tighten down the shifting lever torque bolts as tight as I can.
By that time, I can start the truck and put into drive only.
So,
I drive out from the woods where everyone is at and to the main parking lot at the clubhouse.
After checking out what more I can do to make sure I can get home without a tow, I realized that the steering tub in the column is fucked, but I'm able to start & put the truck into drive, which is all I need to get home at this point.
Now life is good cause I'm making my late dinner as I type & getting fucked up 'TOO'!

Yeah, I made it home just fine early this morning, thanks for asking.
I actually ran up to Indian Lake after eating last night and got my fishing poles wet for a little bit, then decided to head home to fix the truck today.
Trust me, it sucked great big donkey dicks that it happened cause I really wanted to meet everyone & have fun, but I have to get my rig running right cause I have to head to Cincinnati this coming week and then to N.Y. City the following week.
I'll get'her done alright, you count on it...
This is what broke, which is fucking amazing to me that a little dinky broken F250 SuperDuty part could've left me completely disabled. What a piece of shit!
