I like my Porter Cable. I had a craftsman before that that was ok, just didn’t have the power.
Yeah, we’re not on the same page.... 😂

With what your using it for you would do good with a netgear or an Arris. If you were a gamer I would say the nighthawk line would be the way to go but just a regular N600 will work for you just fine. If you have a bigger house you may want to get one with external antennas (N600 is internal)or a wifi range extender (most have external antennas) so you can get better coverage throughout the house.

2k’ ranch.... So the multiple antenna would be the best option?

If you can put it in a central location (higher you can mount it the better) you may not need external but if you put it in a bedroom on one end of the house I would get external or at the minimum a range extender.

Also watch putting them in any kind of cabinet or small space. Closed off behind a cabinet door weakens the range and small spaces with poor air circulation isn't good either.

Think of the wifi signal like a drop off water hitting the lake. The ripples are the same. Block it and the ripple weakens and dies quicker.

I'm assuming most of the devices your using are all wireless nothing that needs a wired connection? Other 2 questions are

1) what's the primary use? Video streaming, gaming, work from home, or just surfing the web

2) what's the internet speeds your going to connect to it? 100,300Mb/s

Video streaming/Roku
Surfing
100 Mb will be the initial setup. If needed will increase to 250 Mb

Most cable providers offer 100 -300Mb/s unless you go to a business class connection that will go up to a Tb(T1 connection)
Honestly a N600 (300Mb/s) will run any speed you're going to hook up to it residential. If range is an issue after the fact you can always add the extender for around $30-$40 so you would only be out a total around $120 or so.

Might call the local internet providers tech line. Talking to a local technician might help you get an idea for the standard in your area. (Not to dismiss Redcloud or anyone else's suggestions.)
