What is the TOO approved method of killing a chipmunk ASAP? The fugger chewed wires on one of my scales. When I went to check my other scales the bastard was in a channel and ran over my hand making his escape. If they can’t splice the wires a new load cell is $165.

A decent length piece of PVC that dead ends into a trap, close to where your issues are. You could use a bucket of water at the end, a mouse trap, live trap, whatever.

Small have a heart trap with peanut butter as bait. Then a road trip or a .22 depending on how pissed off you are. A cap full of antifreeze would work as well but it’ll kill indiscriminately.

Sit and wait with a .22 in hand. Or start a bait pile for the bastard if you're the impatient type. Option 2 is to harbor some barn cats. I do hate cats... but they're hell on chipmunks.

Or, as I call it, "The Log Roll of Death".
High volume, minimal servicing as long as the peanut butter on the water bottle lasts. Make sure it easily spins.
