Surprised you-all ain't under feet of snow. Friend of mine lived a little east of there for awhile and got hammered all the time it seemed

It's a S blow, so no lake effect.

Little 8 just pushed a doe across the field. Slow otherwise. Beautiful morning though.

I’m in my corner pocket stand....nothing yet but they had a party last night under clear the skies.....sleeping in. Small gamers just began banging away.

While getting coffee this morning before heading out to get my stand in order for tomorrow, I overheard two guys talking saying that the deer were really on their feet yesterday...he saw a lot of bucks cruising...should be the beginning of some awesome movement, especially later in the week when it gets a bit colder. Good luck to everyone who is out.

Removed a trailcam from one of my stands that I haven’t hunted in two years....kept the batteries changed though....decided to pull the camera and put it somewhere else. Look how the tree grew around the security box!

Ended up seeing a small 8 skirting the edge of the CRP above me. I grunted at him but he wasn’t the least bit interested

I had 25 sightings this morning. Calling it 19 deer. 6 bucks, 3 were two year olds. Mine were cruising. None of the doors were being harassed. It seems like it’s still a few days off on the new property.
I was lucky to see 19 deer in a week on the Athens property.

Update: Saw one spike at 10:15. Grilling lunch now.

I'm still here... We'll call it 5 does and two small bucks. Maybe 3 bucks all small. One was running around like a bat out of hell but the rest were just cruising. Hoping a good one decides to walk last before dark.

Wow, I really need to get bifocals I can shoot with. I was trying to say there was no rut activity with all the deer I saw.
I’m in the stand Tyler Hunted this morning. He saw 6. Two big points that were timbered hard. Wind is strong and not blowing in a direction I would choose.
