Hey Joe - speaking of member contributions - I'd planned on making another pledge at least annually-When did we do our first round of contributions? ( I honestly can't remember - was it last fall? Almost a year already?)
Idea: You should put a link in the TOO store for those who want to make a contribution but don't want to buy anything. Or post the instructions there.
I know the instructions are somewhere in here, I'm just too lazy to go back and look up how to do it.

Ya gotta make it easy for us, the general public, to give you our money.

I can look it up buddy if you like. BTW where did your "Supporting member" tag go in your info.. hmmm... Anyway. it's the green link on the navigation bar above that says donate. But it doesn't show up on the "new post" page. But it does on the forum home and thread pages. You're right, I need to look into something more noticeable and upfront. .

Time for some self reflection and evaluation...well, maybe later, when I get round to it

Dan, it was Sept/Oct if I remember right, because I made my first one from the treestand. At least that it when I made mine, I believe it was right after the donate button was created.

Joe, I tried before using a debit card and it would not take it. Can we use a debit card now?? I don't use credit cards any more.

Not sure man. Here is how i understand it.

Common bank cards have two functions.. They can be used either as debit or credit. In both instances the money comes out of your bank account.

Paypal does not accept bank cards used as "debit" where the pin has to be entered.
Paypal can accept the same card used as credit. Where the number, exp date, and security code from the back of the card is needed..

So yes. You can use your bank card. But only as credit. lol

I like this place. Lot of good posts here. Only wish I had more time than I do to post.

Thanks for the kind words Boone. It's definitely tougher for some to post than others, but everything you are willing to contribute is appreciated. This group has been around for a while, so there is an eclectic and diverse set of skills floating around. Having known the vast majority of this crowd for a few years, I can assure you that you're in good company! I'm glad to see you sticking around and contributing, as it's always nice to add quality new folks to the TOO family. With any luck, you'll kill a slunger this year deserving of a TOO Buck of the Month feature! We've done some videos on the site already, but as we add new, dedicated members, those videos and commercials are going to blow up!!! :smiley_clap:

Common men with common passions are bound to enjoy one another’s company. Make that common passion the Great Outdoors, and you become part of one of the greatest brotherhoods in existence. This place exists to facilitate the brotherhood of sportsmen here in Ohio and those across the world with ties to this great state. I believe TOO is going to thrive in the coming years. This forum game ain't rocket science! Simply provide a comfortable environment for a group of quality folks to exchanged quality information, stories, trials and errors, and you have the recipe for success. Thanks to all the brothers that make TOO what it is today and here's to the new brothers joining and who will join in the future!!!
