Finally saw a deer, think a doe but was in thick stuff.

Put a doe down, double lunged her at 140 yards this morning. Knowing where they like to bed comes in handy.

Had my first visitor. Wish I could say I meant to have the camera in greyscale but I’m running auto w/o flash. Got a long way to go

I came up and did deer drives with Ohiosam at an apple orchard that Sams been hunting since he was back in school. Yeah, that’s a looong time
Yesterday there was 5 of us hunting. Lots of deer seen and many within range. Just nothing we wanted too drag up them hills.... Lots of little ones and a spike buck.
Not sure what Sam had walked, but I’m imagining it’s probably a little more then me.

Took cooper with me yesterday. Never thought we would get a chance with how much he talks and moves around. But 15 minute hunt is all it took. My brother shot a doe about 5 minutes after I did so cooper got to see 2 deer go down. Hes 3 and absolutely ate up with it. Carrys his bow around everywhere and all he wants to do is shoot a bear. So i know theres gonna be a bear hunt in our future.
