Please, I DO NOT wish to offend nor upset anyone here on this forum and I truly hope that I don't. I admit that I'm ignorant regarding these few, perhaps morbid questions that I have, hoping that maybe someone here can seriously enlighten me.

Does anyone know of anyone personally, whether it's a friend, family member, coworker, acquaintance or otherwise of having this Corona 19 virus as of yet?

It's rather interesting to me that I personally haven't seen any real factual investigative news reporting, or any current video documentation of what's actually happening on the front lines with this breakout, showing actual infected US Americans, and that includes other countries as well for that matter.

Perhaps, some might say that I'm living under a rock, and they'd be right for the most part.

What about funerals and morgues of those that have already succumb to the decease? Are there any different type of procedures and/or protocols for those that have already died from the decease that anyone may know of?

I'm mainly curious though if anyone here personally knows of or has witnessed anyone they have seen with this particular virus at this point of time and wishes to share their experience and/or factual knowledge?

I am truly amazed how quickly our normal way of life has basically come to a standstill, or turned upside down on all fronts, whether it's economically, occupationally, leisure or otherwise.

To me, I'm rather concerned that this is the perfect storm which makes our nation quite vulnerable to perhaps some other type of an attack, which I hope that I'm horribly wrong about.

Thank you for reading and/or responding to my questions in advance!

How about some GOOD NEWS?

-China has CLOSED down its last coronavirus hospital. NOT enough new cases to support them.

- Doctors in India have been SUCCESSFUL in treating Coronavirus. Combination of drugs used: Lopinavir, Retonovir, Oseltamivir along with Chlorphenamine. They are going to suggest same medicine, GLOBALLY.

- Researchers of the Erasmus Medical Center claim to have FOUND an ANTIBODY against coronavirus.

- A 103-year-old Chinese grandmother has made a FULL RECOVERY from COVID-19 after being treated for 6 days in Wuhan, China.

- Apple reopens all 42 china stores,

- Cleveland Clinic developed a COVID-19 test that gives RESULTS in HOURS, not days.

- Good news from South Korea, where the number of new cases is DECLINING.

- Italy is hit hard, experts say, only because they have the oldest population in Europe.

- Scientists in Israel likely to announce the development of a coronavirus VACCINE.

- 3 Maryland coronavirus patients FULLY RECOVERED; able to return to everyday life.

- A network of Canadian scientists are making excellent PROGRESS in Covid-19 research.

- A San Diego biotech company is developing a Covid-19 VACCINE in collaboration with Duke University and National University of Singapore.

- Tulsa County's first positive COVID-19 case has RECOVERED. This individual has had two NEGATIVE tests, which is the indicator of recovery.

- ALL 7 patients who were getting treated for at Safdarjung hospital in New Delhi have RECOVERED.

- Plasma from newly RECOVERED patients from Covid -19 can TREAT OTHERS infected by Covid-19.
Don’t know if all of this is true but it was posted on Facebook. Maybe Joe can confirm if any of this is fact.

Day 2 of WFH (work from home). Don't like it, but what else can you do but the best you can with what you have?

Side note, some of the lovely OU morons got busted attempting to plan a "fest" related to coronavirus. OU put out a notice all over social media that if they try it, they will be arrested and likely kicked out of the university. Geniuses...

George, are these facts or just something on the internet. I don’t want everyone making decisions on anything but facts. I’m not suggesting there not, just asking. I’ve heard about the hospitals and the 104 year old recovery. The president is on, you’d think he would shed light on advances

there are only 50 confirmed cases in ohio. None in my county or the county to the south, 2 in each the counties north and west. No names released. So it’s not that surprising that people here don’t know anyone.

My son in California was really sick about the 3rd week in February, miss a week of work. Went to his dr twice, dr checked him for strep, when that came back negative diagnosed it as the flu. Now looking at the Covid symptoms he thinks he might have had it but can’t be sure.

Guy that sits behind me, his girlfriend is in the hospital for breathing issues. He's stayed home since he found out. They won't know her test results until tomorrow. Another guy up the street at a different building, his wife apparently tested positive. As of yesterday afternoon there were 6 in my county. From what I know that is solely based on the testing location.

I’m fairly confident I have it. Nasty cough, extremely sore throat, pink eye, diarrhea, shortness of breath, dizziness, and general feeling like dog shit. And I have a direct line of connections to someone with it. The only thing I don’t have is much of a fever.

Doctor tested me for flu and respiratory viruses yesterday and all came back negative. He said if those were negative they’d test me for covid but the doc who’s working today seems reluctant even though they have test kits. We’ll see what happens, if like to be able to tell people for sure if they were exposed to me recently.

Pink eye, sore throat, dizziness and the shits generally are not symptoms of Covid. You've probably got multiple infections if Covid is one. Per CDC the main symptoms of covid are fever, cough and shortness of breath.

Our son had pink eye and bronchitis last week. I know pink eye is going around here pretty heavily right now (Athens area).

I'm hearing many stories similar to Sam. I think it has been around since Nov/Dec. Maybe not exact same strain?

You guys aren't the first who have said that. Several people I know down there in Ohio, particularly SE, had these very symptoms back in December and January. Friends that had horrible coughs, fevers and all that spread around to their families. My wife and I both had a bad cough and runny nose back at the first of the year that we attributed to moving my sister and allergies. Only thing we didn't check was our temp. Hers was so bad she had to go in and get all kinds of steroids and all just to get relief. Makes you wonder anyway.

Good luck man.

I am another believer that this has been around for months. They’re just testing for it now. We had something take everyone but me down in our house. Canceled school and everything. That went around the state and I remember the talks here about that. My two sons never popped positive for the flu, my wife and daughter did one son and my daughter both came back strep positive a week later. The ups and downs that they all had was crazy. Craziest part was that I felt fine. Even being in the middle of it all. I also never get the flu shot.
