Another good buck at 25 yards coming through searching. Based on the past couple days, next year looks promising lol. Hopefully my daughter gets a crack at one next weekend.

Mallory and I sat until noon and either of us saw a deer. We came home and now it's beer thirty. Back at it tomorrow.

Have a feeling I'm gonna regret not going tonight but I needed a day to relax before going back to work. I'll be back out next weekend with the kids. Good luck everyone.

At least we got a cooler evening sit in before next weekend. We should have a better chance with venturing out in the neighborhood using a weapon that he can use without a rest if need be. We saw 0 life of any kind tonight.
I guess I was the babysitter for all the fawns and bb's in the area. 5 wandering around not knowing wtf to do.

Just the unidentified buck at 100ish yards. Not sure if I should sleep in, or go to a spot that’s been consistent with does in the mornings and hope a random buck cruises through, or I just lose self control (hard to do that when you don’t have any) and whack a doe.

Chasing all day long insane hunt today. Seen several smalls and a handful of shooters. Missed the biggest deer of my life a half hour before dark... Ive replayed the shot a hundred times in my head and can't figure out what deflected the arrow. It felt perfect , perfect broadside shot, was calm, I just don't get it. The place was recently logged and it's a mess with tops but I swore the shooting lane looked good. I was on the ground on the move to close in on him. Today was my last day of rutcation. Hitting it again in the morning and then back to work tomorrow night. Good luck tomorrow fellas

Headed back in boys for my last day of rutcation! I have high hopes after last night. Gonna make a slight adjustment and do a hang and hunt… we shall see!
I'm out. Feels great to be out sitting in the darkness again.

I'm in . Same place I was yesterday 0 sightings. I know there here just gotta wait them out. It dosent help I'm hunting a 50 acre swamp....good luck

Didn’t get to sleep in or hunt this am. Wife’s car needs taken in to the shop so that’s my job this morning. Hoping for an evening hunt. We shall see.

I’m bored, walking from window to window hoping for something to watch. I was going to do some fall turkey hunting but I just saw season went out yesterday. Arg.

I have a target doe. A big lone doe. With the many deer around, I doubt anyone is shooting does. There's a lot of them. A lone yearling just came in & a rinky dink 4 pt cruised thru.

If you’re in northwest ohio you need to be hunting. Seen at least 100 deer numerous big bucks all over in my hour drive to upper Sandusky. Why does work always get in the way of fun. Good luck to anyone out should be a great day!
Been some action this morning. Let this one walk and had an identical one come in from opposite side of the hollow shortly after. For sure wasn’t sane deer because first one ran a doe down to the creek bottom to my left and the second one came in from the right.
