Hunting last day of rifle in PA with my cousin. On a decent chunk of public. Pushed to him this morning and saw 3 does but no shots. Sitting for the evening. Doe came by already but too far for a shot. Feels like a deery evening. Good luck to anyone out!
3 dead squirrels. The rest of the bullets we used to shoot apples

I was going to try to chase some birds tomorrow but was blessed with my son's take home from school and three out of the four of us are sitting here tonight on steroids with a case of strep good enough to where they kicked us out as fast as possible saying they haven't seen it that bad that fast yet this year after first symptoms. Either way sitting here pissed I can't do anything and knowing I can't go around anyone for a couple days because I don't want to give it to them . At least it happened on my day off. Best of luck to you guys that are hunting this weekend I really believe tomorrow morning will be a good one . Had 5 deer around the house tonight haven't seen that since early season.

PA public land fatty. Awesome hunt. 5 does this evening. Pretty good natural movement for the last day of rifle season.

Took my 45-70. The area we hunt is real thick. Had a bad experience using my grandpas 270 and wounding a buck. No issues shooting through a little brush with the 45-70.

That was my grandpas. Carry it with me for every hunt. He hunted PA and had a camp there back in the 50s-70s since there weren’t many deer in Ohio. I like going to PA to hunt in his memory. Had to put the knife on the deer for the picture.
