I came out early today to a property I have permission to turkey hunt. No gobbling here this morning
I going to put in a few miles this morning see if I don’t have better luck shed hunting

I finally heard some gobbling!
Quite a bit of gobbling but not on property I can hunt
Still it has been a great morning

Great way to use sheds
I don’t think I have that many and I know I have no artistic talent

Walked just shy of 17K steps today and found another fresh shed that was dropped by another canine of some sort. I suspect a coyote cuz I find lots of yote sign and occasionally jump one on my walks on this property. Greenup is almost full blown in my areas.
Notice the teeth marks on tine tips. I walked entire property looking for other side but it’s probably on neighboring property. Oh well.

What is the story behind the elk?

Was alive yesterday on a buddies property. Shed hunting elk in pa is a legit competitive sport. People watch these things every day waiting for them to drop. Buddy said it didn’t look good yesterday. Biologist thinks just an extremely old bull that had a rough rut.
