Mason just headed out. I have really high hopes for him tonight which usually does not pan out. But, by the numbers and circumstances, he’s mathematically most likely in the best situation he’s been in all year. I honestly feel if we were betting odds, today is the best bet he’s had all year.

2nd time's a charm.....neighbor used her 357 Rossi lever action & made a perfect shot on a big doe....pic doesn't do justice. I dressed it out for her & she took it in to the processor. Her husband doesn't hunt & he was still at work, so she'll be thrilled to show him the pic .....

I took my son’s blind he was hand gunning in this morning and got the skunk. He wanted to watch college football today thus Dad will show him what he missed tonight. Hopefully the Donkey Doe shows up this evening. For those that like ‘em big….she’s got a wide a$$, big hips, a sagging belly, and a daughter.

I’m in. Perfect wind, couple antlerless deer daylighted last night and I’m shooting my dad’s .357 mag revolver pretty well. First mature doe or button that gives me a broadside shot inside of 20 is gonna get shot hopefully. Good luck to anyone else out this chilly evening.

Donkey Doe and Daughter entered corner of food plot. Then they ran off. One minute later here comes Mr. Spike. Almost…..

….ended up seeing 5 antlerless and 2 spikes. No deer harmed by me. Dave got 7 pointer. Time for bourbon, campfire, and football.
I should have worn ear protection, that 450 is very loud.
