Wow I really messed the thread title up forgetting to put the word "Pics" in but I guess the point was still made. I have been a diehard whitetail hunter my whole life but I gotta admit that last living picture of the guy about brought a tear to my eye.

I thought this was an awesome photo gallery. It was rather interesting to see how the pictured buck aged from year to year and thought others might enjoy it. I also sent this to a few friends who think that every spike should be killed since they think they will never amount to anything...

My brother in law is a meat hunter and will shoot anything at any distance and any shot. He hit two different does during gun season found fur and blood and never found either of them so yeah gun hunters can be just as bad.

I love how they keep throwing around bringing the numbers down close to the effectiveness of the heards....... What exactly does that mean? The herd seemed plenty effective when the numbers were way up. I have never in 34 years seen a deer starving to death in the woods.

Me to it sounded like a war zone around my property yesterday. I counted 14 shots in a 2 hour period while I was out detailing the car in the driveway.

Whatever it is they will either 1) be thrilled it is high 2) say it was just low because of the weather and the deer population is right where they want it.
