Good way to end the season. I still have another month in PA, but can hunt Saturday only. Unfortunately I will be lucky to make it a time or two more with how much I have going on.

Unfortunately, I can't get out this weekend. Looked a little bit for those vests online but looks like Hurtta may have discontinued them. I like the Riel vest for warm weather, but my feists are so short haired that I wouldn't mine giving them a little help in the warmth Department for colder...

I haven't been doing this that long, but this year has been tougher than last year for sure getting after squirrels even though the dogs are very much improved from where they were last year.

The Muck boots definitely don't hold up like they used to. I have had issues with them as well. I still like them as they are comfortable and easy on and off. J, no experience with the Lacrosse boots. Good luck.

Slow morning with the snow coming down. Treed 6 times. Only saw 1 and killed it. Other trees had holes or nests. Didn’t even seen very many tracks in the snow. Mostly saw them where the dogs got treed. Daughter went with me and took some nice pictures.

Nice! What kind of vest is that? I have a vest made my Larry Riehl which is nice when it is hot. The vest Slick has on would be better in colder weather.

My son took the dogs this morning. Treed 15 times. Got off a few shots. Killed 1. Saw probably 8-10 squirrels. One tree had 4. Said they timbered something terrible but squirrels everywhere. Only hunted a few hours.

Glad he is back healthy.

I am guessing the Steve McQueen thing pushed @giles over the edge to buy it. LOL.
