Stay with it. The rut came early this year with the temps. We are in full lock down at my place. It changed in 2-3 days. All it takes is the right doe. There will be alot of hours in the stand but it will pay off if you have the motivation.

Just drove to the tire shop and seen 3 big ones out searching, all by themselves.

Got it done Sunday night. Oct 26 has been a magical date for me. I have killed 4 good deer on this date. Its definitely one that I keep circling on the calendar. First time the wife and I have been done before November. Granddaughter is up next. She is 4 so its going to be a struggle.

I dont know about you, but this happens at my house every time this year. We get a cool off and when it warms back up we get them all over the siding of the house

Wife got it done last night. All the prep and homework paid off.

Not going to argue with that but 90% of people will not have one racked due to what they have been told and taught with gun safety

My personal opinion would be a revolver. The only reason I say that is if you never been trained over and over and then it comes to the actual defense 99%of people will forget to rack around.
