I have not a clue what is going on. Hunting a property Joe and I are very familiar with, including 2 seperate tracts around it. They went crazy a week ago, then nada the past few days. I heard 1 gobble sunday morning.

Any body experiencing Toms ghosting? I got on birds all early last week. They all up and vacated the area, still seeing hens, likely all bred and on nests. But haven't heard a gobble between 3 seperate tracts in a few days.

Were getting old fellas. Looked back, this was 11 years ago, if anyone remembers the "pen pal deer" from 2013 . and now... Where did the time go?

This buck was numero dos on my hit list. I'm on a property I never hunted and he was discovered mid october. I had a run in with him during our 7 day shotgun season but he was out of range. I didn't mind that because I had another beef cake 10 known in the surrounding area. That deer ghosted...
