I ask every hunter about the broadhead. It varies quite a bit between the brands. Even POS Bowmar's (new and improved design?) broadhead has 3 poor blood trails/dead ends in my travels already.

Maxx went 2 fer 2 Sunday! Had a gut shot deer call for Quaker City. At 12 hrs we put Maxx on the hair pile and off he went. One scent pool had him baffled for a few minutes... Thats when the deer took us to hell and back! Track took us down a very steep hill you couldn't hardly walk on...

Maxx jumped right back on our buck at 2:00. When Maxx was chewing tail, we were close to 3/4 mile. Tyler is one happy kid now! Shot was very low but at back of the ribs. Stomach was laid open pretty bad. You never know what you'll find. This is Tylers first deer ever! Goooboy Maxx Dawg!

Tracking one for a neighbors Grandson. 450ish yds we jumped it this morning. Bed is fairly bloody... Waiting 4 hrs to go back in. Got a feeling its a low briskit/belly hit. Found some (handfull) stringy blood soaked fat on briars when he got up. I believe it's gonna turn out to be nothing...
