    Transportation Research Center controlled hunt

    The only reason we put in for it is that they only draw 8 people and thought, it's along shot but figured the hunting would be good. Glad to hear it isn't Plumbrook thick, at least maybe you'll be able to see the deer. Oh well we'll see.

    Noble county report

    I was in Noble last Thursday to Sunday. Rut activity was hit and miss. Saw a young buck chasing a doe and rattled a 2.5 yr old in, but other than that not much going on yet. I saw no big boys and had a herd of 6 does come by me Saturday morning with nothing following.

    Exactly, more people are driving now and most of those people have a cell phone in one hand and aren't paying attention. That's the real problem, not the number of deer.

    Controlled hunts

    I didn't get drawn but my buddy did for Jan 10th gun hunt at Plumbrook. We went last year in mid December and had terrible weather and our sector was probably one of the thickest sectors there but we are going again this year hopefully with a more "open" sector.
