I went down below Dillon dam last night. Suager aren't there yet. On a side note, they are releasing a bunch of water. These guys caught about 50 lbs of shad in about thirty minutes in a cast net.

So far I haven't kept the little ones but my neighbor says there is quite a bit of meat on the backs and they make great fish sticks.

I have heard of people catching white bass in paint creek. I didn't know if you had good sauger there.

Anyone else ready to go fishing? The sauger and saugeye will be moving upstream soon.

I forgot to mention. We had four beagles down.

Four rabbits, four shots, with a 410 pistol on a four hour rabbit hunt. Yep, that was today.

We are friends with them down there. They are a no kill shelter that specializes in hard to place dogs. His biggest problem is he is a bully. My beagles just can't handle him. Put with the right size dog that will end pretty quickly. If they can't place him I will take him back and figure...

I have a Cur/Walker cross that needs to go. He is a little over a year old. He will fight a coon on the ground, but is not treeing yet. He can track coon and squirrel.
