    Things we did as kids

Reindeer mounting is when you take the Christmas reindeer yard decorations and stand them up so they were humping each other. The best is if you could find a buck that had the head that would automatically move up and down. Penny tapping is where you tape the top part of penny to a window so...

    Things we did as kids

Put a flaming bag of shit on a teacher's front porch. When he answered the door, he stood and stared at for a minute like he knew he was a flaming back of crap. Then his welcome mat caught fire and he had to stomp it out. That D bag gave me an F cause I hooked up with his son's girlfriend. But I...

    Live From the Stand 2017.

Decided to give the woods a break today. We grid searched our property on Saturday afternoon but couldn't turn up my dad's buck. Hopefully he's still alive and shows back up before the end of the week.

My dad shot a nice buck this morning but he said he hit him high in the shoulder. The arrow didn't pass through and the blood is extremely sparse for 75 yards and then it dissapears. Any thoughts on what we should do? Is the shot fatal?

    Live From the Stand 2017.

Was hoping to do an all day sit but I only made it till 11:30 before I called it quits. The cold kicked my ass this morning. I only seen one really small buck about 10:45. I'm back in the same stand hoping something comes through.

Flew in last night and had my 1st sit this afternoon. I had the little one with me so I wasn't expecting too much. He was so excited it was hard to keep him quiet. Hopefully we'll get into them tomorrow.

    FML... Bad shot advice

Congrats on your 1st deer. There's an overwhelming feeling of pride and accomplishment when you sit down to eat your 1st deer. Most people in this country will never know what that feels like. Also, part of making mistakes is learning from them. You have a pretty good head on your shoulders...
