Great first hunt of the year. Had a buck chasing 5 does. No shot but fun to watch. Isnt it early for chasing? Saw 6 other does. None in range.

Driving in on Friday afternoon saw a buck chasing a doe in the pouring rain (dummy). Saturday AM had a decent 8 come through. He hit four scrapes on his trail in. I let him pass. A few minutes later saw a nice hat rack (8 " G1s at least) rubbing his rack in a tree @ 70 yds. I grunted at him but...

530 PM today saw a buck following a doe. Not chasing just following. She was not in a hurry. Seems a little early for that behavior but there it is.

I was out Saturday AM for a few hours is NW Coshocton County. Beautiful day but got warm early. Heard a few footy steps but saw nothing. Ill be back Fri night for the entire weekend. Maybe they'll get moving up by then. Good luck everybody. Be safe.
