grinder

i am kinda shopping around for a meat grinder to make deer sausage and burger. There are a lot of choices and i find myself going with the bigger must be better mentality. But I am asking myself, "do I need a 3 hp grinder? Or will one of the smaller less expensive 500 watt units be sufficient...

My dad is retired and he loves to fabricate things. Here is the stump grinder he built. It worked pretty well once we got the rhythm down. Definitely not for commercial use, but it worked great for the two lots he just bought and cleared...

I have a manual meat grinder and am considering processing (grinding into burger) my own deer, this fall. I realize that a powered grinder will make this process easier, but the manual grinder is what I have, for now. This is the size of grinder that I currently own...
