I'm sure I've never seen any photo or depiction of squirrel hunting with a dog on the regs cover in all my years buying an Ohio license. it really is a shame how small game hunting has been pushed to the back burner in favor of the more glorious pursuit of deer and turkey hunting.
You prove every year how much fun chasing small game can be. Hands down, my second favorite thread every year. Only second to the "live from the stand" thread.
Was at bass pro got me hunting license and also grab this book as well. Ready for opening day.
lol, no. Lefty would be standing at the base of the tree looking at me to make sure I'm getting ready to shoot instead of doing his job like the dog on the cover.

It is about time! Our annual squirrel hunts with you and the boys has become a seasonal favorite. A simple pursuit that is far more enjoyable than sitting in a cold deer stand.

Meh. Difference between a pleasure dog and a competition dog. Feet on the tree only matter for points.
