In late October, my dad and I were in Southern OH and he finally scored on a personal best. It took him a lot of years to get it done... I know he doesn't have the drive I do, and doesn't eat, sleep, breathe it, and that's ok. Just seeing him him finally kill a nice buck, made all the extra work and time I put in hanging stands, scouting, looking at maps, worth it. My buddy does taxidermy on the side, and even though he isn't taking any heads this year, he offered to do my dads. He told him a few years ago if he ever got one worth mounting, he'd do it for him, and kept his word. It's not completely done, but all said and done will be a 2-2 1/2 month turn around.
