I've had the honor of meeting at Mingo a couple times with Dannman. I've met up for dinner with Dan/Ric and all our wives. I think Dan is the real trophy. Keep bringing the laughs. And hunting stories. And breakfast sammiches. 
My wife will not touch venison, but surprised me when she told me she would try the bear meat - Holy shit!! And further we've decided to let the taxi do a full rug, head, paws, and all. Taking it to Pattons Taxidermy in Morrow OH. ThIs is A HUGE deal...I never thought I'd ever spend a dime on taxidermy.

The antis in this state sucks... I've had mirrors broken (snow on the ground so I saw tracks leading up to the truck)... So last Sat. I had a quick burger and beer with my friend that let Jon and Dan hunt bears on the property he leases... He said they are welcome to hunt it again in 2025... In fact he said come spring he's putting another ladder stand up for them to hunt out of... This property has a ton of bears traveling through it... So I'm sure one or both will score come Oct.. I'll start a 2025 Bear thread later this year when I get some cameras out...

He is... He says shoot them all... Oh and I told him we got a get a big ladder stand with maybe a heated seat cause someone was complaining about the hang on I hung last year... Said it was uncomfortable...

Nice rug Dave.... I know someone that is getting a rug done and should be done sometime within the next year... Well the bears are officially up and about... Last weekend my son's garbage can got trashed .... This morning I see my neighbors garbage is all over his yard... I'll start a 2025 bear thread once I get some cameras out... I gotta go put a ladder stand up for the twins where Dan got his bear... Arnold said the hang on was uncomfortable....
