My son and I have been talking about a African plains animal hunt for the last 15 yrs. or so. I'll be 71 next year and it's getting time to go. He said if everything is OK in 2015 we'll plan on going together.
Been putting all my R&D funds in a special account and I almost got enough for a nice trip.
Plus today I sold 450.00 of gunparts to a guy in MA to add to the total and I sold a nice collector Mossberg rifle to a TOO member and that goes into the pot.
Looking forward to it. I plan on mostly a handgun hunt with a 375 JDJ Contender (444 Marlin necked down to 375 caliber) but will take my Remington 700 Custom Shop rifle in 375H&H as a backup rifle. I taken elk with both the 375 JDJ and the 375 H&H so I know they both work just find.
