For those of you interested in moose hunting. I suggest you take the 2 hours to watch this. This is pretty telling of how it is. Only I've never had the luxury of planes and more people. Lol

I am only at 1:15, so I'm sure I will have more to add.

Spot on from rain, to snow, to fog. From the wind to very little sun. Busted slings to running out of whiskey. The life lessons talked about in the last half hour of this will have me searching other videos from this guy.

This video showed a very target rich environment, I have not experienced that. Everything else was spot on though. The guy in this show should be a real inspiration to some of us. Broken down old man got it done for his 60th birthday. Well done sir! This video didn't share much information to the average guy, but I have faith that you guys here will pick up on things. Like the thermals and such. I seriously enjoyed this and was glued from start to finish. Perfect timing with this rainy weekend ahead. Enjoy it folks!

Looks like he has more videos. @Jackalope can I get you to change the thread name to "Alaska dream hunts" please.

its hard for me to think a place like that is real. I've seen belfountain Ohio in the daylight that's about it. Only drove through mountain states in the dark going to Florida alabama and sc. Just going to Alaska someday is bucket list adventure for me.

Billy puts out some good Brown bear videos. Some great sheep hunts also.
I like how true his content is. I've watched a few of the bear hunts now. That one took 7 or 9 shots to kill. My bear took 3 shots, all 3 were deadly shots. Amazing how tough they are.

Make it happen! Hopefully I get to bump my Alaska thread this year. Looking like the middle of July might be possible this year.

I have been to my buddy's place in Cordova Alaska twice on black bear bow hunts that place is pretty wild and awesome.
Rugged country and you work for what you hunt for that's for sure.
I think that is the message I am trying to put out, it is work. Alaska has a way of making you very humble and small feeling.
