It was I. Just like last year, a buck again on this date.... anniversary of my Father's death. Anyway, I goofed. This isn't the buck I thought it was, much smaller, but still pleased. They certainly do look much bigger when they're headed ur way. I mentioned in the other thread where a buck had crossed out in front of me following another deer. I then saw another buck later on. @ 0915, I decided to go back to the house to change in to lighter clothing & for more coffee. I had a hunch bucks would be moving moreso later on, so I was going to stay until 11 or 12. At 0945 , This guy had come from where the first three went. I saw his muzzle out front about 25 yrds before he stepped further from the brush, where I saw the last buck & when he stepped out, I immediately knew he was following my game plan for this particular blind. He was angling inward & he'd still be at 25 yrds when he came into my shooting lane. After the shot, he would then have to run down a bit , then go up the hill where he's loose all his energy. And it worked !
