Antlerless on Public Land

Well tomorrow is the last day to take an antlerless deer on public land. Really excited to see how this new regulation will pan out in a few years with shortening the season on doe and only allowing 1 doe from public grounds. I have mixed emotions though as my son and I liked hunting the late muzzleloader and trying for a doe. I do think that this may help out the public land deer population though.

Seems like the regulations change every couple of years on doe harvests, maybe this will help the population bounce back a little. Once it does, I’m sure they’ll ease the restrictions.

I need to remind my foreman. He has hunted some public the last couple years. This was public only? You can still shoot does on private land?
