Very nice! I certainly appreciate them. Time constraints, lack of garage space, and financial constraints don't allow. I suppose I could give up hunting, motorcycles, and some other stuff to make room for them, but I will just pass. Those are some really nice rides Derek.

I bought this barn find all original Protecto plate 67 Nova last Spring for my son's 5th birthday. Was parked in 1986.
It will be a father/son project over the years.
I've picked up a couple thousand in new/old parts over the past year.
Just parts gathering right now as she sits in the garage.
When I get everything I need I'll tear her down, have her dipped, and see what's left to straighten out.

That's a good one to build, that has my dad and my thing over the years besides hunting. I have no intentions on selling any of them just keeping them in the family, but they are as good as money in the bank if you need it.

Nice cars.
Anyone want to do very little work on a 1978 Mercedes 450SL with both tops? Probably 90% condition with less than 100K miles. It came from Florida and was a Doctor's car there. I've had it in storage since 2000 and need to move it. It was my fun car after I survived my 1st open heart surgery in 1996.
I now drive a Nissan 2003 350Z with 22K miles as a fun car and it's more practical for long trips. Just gas it up and go. Might go to TX in July.

Nothing better than the rumble of american muscle. I've got 3 camaros 91 87, and 84. Got the 91 all tore apart getting ready to put my 475 horse small block in it. I sold my 96 ss last year had it since I was 18 bout cried when I got rid of it. Cars are my second passion after hunting. I'll try to post some pic of a few toys I have had. I am painting a 86 Chevy Silverado this weekend that I sold to my cousin.

My 96 that I sold the blue one is the 91 I got tore apart and the nova I had but never finished got offered more money than I had in it.

I do too. The 68 RS/SS is sweet. As I get older I am starting to appreciate them beyond the 67-69 models. Even up to 73s, I have seen some very nice ones. Wouldn't mind owning one. Have seen some nice Chevelles but never really had a desire to own one. Same for the Impalas. The early Nova like Buckmasters' is a beaut. I like them up to about 72. Nice rides.
The early TA was a nice ride. I like the late 70's as well (Smokey and the Bandit) but no desire to own one. The GTO has a strange appeal to me also. Maybe because I don't see as many all dolled up. The Judge was a sweet one though.
Mustangs are cool, but there were only a few which really brought out my gutteral Tim "The Toolman" Taylor grunt.
Might have to start a thread when I start on my 78 Chevy restoration. It was my first truck for the business. Been through a lot with that truck. Had it completely done when a lady ran a stoplight and t-boned me. Had only had the paint and body work done for about two months. It has been sitting so long I am not sure the frame is good. Need to tear it apart and blast it to see where she stands. Will take a lot of time and money to fix her up again but it is a goal. Not saying the 73-87 Chevy trucks were "muscle cars" but they are classic American iron I can get into. The 69-72 GM trucks were my all time favorite but I have abused the heck out of a handful of 73-87's.

Had a 78 Tarns Am. Ran the 400 block into the ground then found a 69-327 4 bolt main. That was a screaming motor there. Raced distance on the streets as a punk for cash then went to the auto cross tracks. (left/right and bootleg turns) That was really fun. Sold the car in 1985. The kid that bought it lasted the summer before destroying it end-over-end in a corn field.
I do miss that car.
Now I'm looking at 68-72 Chargers...kinda...sort of.. maybe.
My last ticket had me clocked at 156 mph on R.t. 11 between Youngstown and Ashtabula in the spring 1985

That was the fastest car in Ottawa in the mid 60's as it had a 3/4 cam. I was dating my wife and drove home from Leipsic over 130 MPH. Got home and burned rubber at a stop sign and the rear tire blew out.
The writing was on the wall. I traded the car off the next day and never drove fast again in the last 51 yrs. I figured I lived once and wouldn't get a 2nd chance.
Even though I drive a 155 MPH car I've never been over 80 MPH and only to pass a slow car one time. I enjoy life in the slow lane.

Some very nice classic muscle cars. I've never owned a true muscle car. My first car was a brand new 1970 Nova. I walked six miles to work five days a week to save for the $1000 down payment on it. I still remember the price I paid for it $2786.92 out the door. It was a 307 two door coupe with automatic and power steering also had ralleye wheels and the exterior décor package. I can't remember the name of the red it was, maybe just Bright Red. I had the car about four days and decided to have the rocker panels painted in silver. The silver just looked "cool" with the ralleye wheels.
When I saw my 2000 Monte Carlo Pace Car in the showroom 30 years later the Torch Red and silver trim was calling to me. I couldn't resist and bought her the next day. Still not a muscle car, but fun to cruise in and reminds me of my first car.

It does resemble Burt. Where is Sally? Smokey And The Bandit is still one of my favorite movies. The rig destroying the motorcycles was a classic scene.

My dad was into them back in the day but I never caught the bug. He bought a '69 Firebird one year and planned to work on it but soon after my mom and him split up so it kind of took the wind out of his sails. It sat in the garage for years and every so often I thought about working on it but in the end he ended up selling it. The guy who bought it stripped it down and did it all right and man that thing looked sweet. Wish I could find a pic of it to show. My BIL has a Roadrunner, not sure what year maybe you guys can tell?, and it's one hot ride. Here's a pic of that:
