Archer Shot in Accident at Total Archery Challenge in West Virginia

Tragedy struck in the West Virginia mountains over the weekend as an archer was shot in an accident at a Total Archery Challenge event.

I am not, nor will I ever be interested in this long range type of shooting event.
I've heard so much from people that have shot the event, about how many arrows you have to have to complete the course. I'm not putting the time and money into arrows, knowing that they're going to be destroyed on an archery course.

As far as the accident, my thoughts and prayers go out this person and the family.
It was just a matter of time, before something like this would happen, given the extended ranges. The club that held this event will be hard pressed to get insurance after this accident.
