Arrow Outserts

I am currently shooting Easton Axis 4mm, and absolutely love them. They shoot very well from point blank out to 75yds, other than when I hit tree branches šŸ˜¬ The issue I am running into, is the 50 grain outserts that come with them are aluminum and to be quite frank, they are junk. Iā€™ve replaced 4 of them now due to them bending, and bending very easily. There is hardly a ā€œcollarā€ that goes over the end of my shaft like most other outserts have as well. I donā€™t really have any interest in going heavier than 50 grains for my outsert, but was curious if anyone knew of another manufacturer that made 50 grain outserts that can be used in an arrow with an ID of 0.165 Thanks

These are the standards that they come with. The white line is all that covers the arrow. I donā€™t mind sticking with an aluminum outsert, just something that isnā€™t going to bend when I hit a foam target at the wrong angle lol

Like Jesse said.

Or switch to Gold Tip. My GTs come with an aluminum outsert that is about 40 grains and covers a solid 3/4-1ā€ of arrow shaft. There are some other really high dollar outserts you can buy but they are cost prohibitive.

To be fair, you don't "need" them for all 2.5 dozen if you don't glue them on. The most you need is 5 for 5 spots, or 6 for a full quiver. Other than that, I'm guessing you're not sending all 30 arrows down range at the same time. Start with 6 and make it work from there.
