You’ll probably see a bobcat season before bear season…. Plus I’d say that a bear season would be met by a full frontal assault by the tree huggers…Site Access Restricted

We saw bears in the late 80s/early 90s while dirt biking just north of Nelsonville. That is 30+ years and they sent out of control yet. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting on a season

Trust me, you don’t want bears. Even more so if you can never hunt them.
I can maybe see a lottery hunt for bears within 10 years . Pretty sure we'll never have a over the counter tagged season for bear

Most of the bears seen in Ohio are young males from PA and WV looking for new territory. Not enough females for serious population growth.

Can only use rifles for varmint, predators , not that a muzzleloader , or bow can’t kill them just more fun with rifle
