Beginner. lots of questions

First off I am not sure what forum topic this fits in so forgive me if its in the wrong one. I am a beginner self taught taxidermist in the Warren and Revanna area. Where is a good place to find laws on what animals are legal to obtain? What animals I can take from roadkill/ woods from my property and what ones do I need to get a tag for? Anyone know a good taxidermist I could learn under? any local places to buy taxidermy supplies? I do have more questions but I cannot think of any right now. thank you all for looking.

Welcome. I've heard stories about these questions and roadkill are a no go. I would contact the ODNR for further questions. If no one else has answers.

What are you looking to start with? My buddy started with squirrels and I supplied them. I have a target rich environment of greys here at the house. Let me know if you want a few.

I will do anything. All I've done so far is a snake and a few feeder mice

You up by Youngstown? Surely someone else is closer. I didn't realize you were that far. Or hit some public land. I know head shots are bad. Lol.

Might want too check out the west branch public hunting area. Berlin as well, you might score a black squirrel too your collection.
