Best 21 Day Period

Normally I would go a little further into November with my choice but last year I killed Pete on October 16 and we had great buck movement then all over the property. Probably a good bit due to the weather but trail camera activity in years past show I have missed some good hunting potentially in the mid October range. So I will go with...........October 16 thru Nov. 6 LOL! November 5 used to be my MUST BE IN THE WOODS day and literally has never disappointed. Man I can't believe I didn't just say the last couple days of October and well into November......

They're all excellent choices in my book! In fact, I don't think there's a bad time to be out in the woods anytime between October thru November cause it's my favorite time of the year in case no one hasn't noticed over the past few years around here.

Regardless, I wish everyone here great success, no matter when you're out there. Good luck to all you 'TOO'zers! Make it happen!!

First of all... everyday spent in the outdoors hunting, fishing, camping or whatever you enjoy are good days. Some more successful than others but none the less good days. Secondly... I sure hope I NEVER run into a 21 day period!🤣🤣 Go get 'em guys! Good luck to all of yall, no matter when you get the job done.

January 10-31. If those 21 days are all cold with snow and I have the best food source in the area.
This. For many reasons.

Butchering a deer with less fat makes it easier.

You can hang them longer.

They have had long enough to spread their seed.

Far less problems with other hunters and people ruining your hunt.

If the deer needs more time, you don't have to worry about the meat going bad.

Zero need to worry about sitting ALL day. Just the last 2 hours.

You can get the meat cooled down fast for a better taste.

Tracking and hunting in the snow us just more fun.

You get to use more time in the woods if you use the entire season.

Fawns will have more meat on them.

Only downfall I can see is finding a fetus if you are doe hunting. But that doesn't bother me. Part of it.
