I have both. The Diamondbacks are worth the extra money when it comes to clarity, IMO. My Diamondbacks get treated with care and are my primary binos. The Crossfires get beat up and tossed around for scouting, waterfowl, etc. Both are 10x42 and for the extra $80, I think you get a much improved field-of-view and clarity by stepping up to the Diamondbacks.

I have some crossfire 2 optics, if I were to bet I'd say they're the more popular in our area since they're more apt to get beat up on in the woods and we aren't shooting long ranges.
Theres tons of comparisons out there for these 2 models if you do a search.
