I always liked the characters he played. Was a pretty good actor.
He pulled some shady shit back in the day claiming too have served in Vietnam but was never there.... He later apologized for misrepresenting his military service. Pissed off a lot of vets back then...

He's a large man. I actually sat next to him at a coffee bar in LAX on my way to OZ on a hunting trip. it was kind of funny how our conversation started. when we went into sit, I happened to be the one sitting next to the person already sitting there. as I sat down, I looked over at the guy sitting there. clearly, he'd seen that look on peoples face before, and before I could even get the words out he smiled and said "yes, I am". we both had a good chuckle. sat there and chatted like two total strangers do in an airport while drinking coffee. nice guy, good actor.
