I've got everything flying good, at all distances with the arrow spine, feather and shaft length, etc.....out of this ILF Hoyt Satori 19" riser with Uukha Gobi short limbs, at 45#.
I shot all 3 of the different weight broadheads with an interior shaft weight to make each one meet the 200 gr. field tip weight, that I've been shooting out of this recurve. There's a Steel Force 175 gr. (20 gr. added), Grizzly 150 gr. (50 gr. added) and an Amazon DRT look-a-like that's 135 gr. (70 gr. added). All of which shot to the same point of impact as the field tips, at 15 and 20 yards.
Since I'm string walking, I was curious to see if my hand/tab on the string position would influence broadhead flight and I was very happy to see that there are no changes.
Arrow: Gold Tip Traditional XT 500 spine at 29" with 3" feathers, TAW 490 gr. and 20% FOC.
Grizzly 150 gr.
Steel Force 175 gr.
2 blade 135 gr.
